Customer Service Operatives

Due to our continued success and as a result of expansion exciting opportunities have arisen for Customer Service Operatives to join our Customer Service team.

 

The successful candidates will provide general, multi-trade, maintenance support to our customers and their properties in line with our warranty commitments.

 

The Role

 

Key duties and responsibilities include:

 

  • Carry out general maintenance multi-trade tasks – predominantly plastering, decorative and joinery based, also other trades as required.

  • Manage daily workloads and defect instructions to ensure customer satisfaction is continually maintained.

  • Be responsible for your own calendar on a weekly and daily basis to ensure that your workload is utilized to provide a maximum output with minimum travelling.

  • Ensure that materials are available to complete the requested works, prior to arriving for an appointment.

  • Understand, and work within Westleigh Partnership Limited standards, policies, procedures and NHBC Buildmark warranty.

  • Ensure that the Customer Service Manager is kept fully updated with the progression of daily workloads.

  • Provide feedback to the business regarding common faults and complaints.

 

The position will require the successful candidate to travel in a company vehicle to our sites which are located in regions including Leicester, Nottingham, Derbyshire, Northampton, Lincoln, Sheffield and South Yorkshire, to carry out maintenance work in homes.

 

A full driving licence is required.

 

The Person

 

The ideal candidate will be experienced in multi trades and have a professional and positive attitude in dealing with customer related issues. Must be able to work well as part of a team to meet deadlines and remain flexible and versatile in the approach to resolving issues.

 

The majority of the work will encompass plastering, decorating and joinery work and therefore a strong trade background will be required.
