The first six homes released for sale at a new development in Northampton have been reserved within a matter of days, and developer Westleigh is encouraging prospective buyers to get in touch right away to avoid missing out on the next release.
Further properties are set to be released at Ecton Brook Place in the coming weeks, including three-bedroom semi-detached Bryce and Mayne style homes.
The first phase properties made available earlier this month were a mixture of two and three-bedroom homes, and have all now been snapped up.
The new development, located just off Ecton Brook Road, has been designed with couples, young families and downsizers in mind. It offers a range of modern, spacious, smartly-fitted two-bedroom and three-bedroom homes.
The Mayne boasts a generous front-aspect living room and an open-plan dining kitchen, with French doors providing access to the rear garden. Upstairs, an en-suite master bedroom is complemented by two further well-proportioned bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The Bryce offers a spacious living room, which forms the focal point to the property. It provides a downstairs cloakroom in addition to a family dining kitchen, and an impressive en-suite master bedroom.
Prices for the properties pending release are set to be announced in the near future. All will be available through the Government’s Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, an initiative which aims to make it easier for buyers to secure a mortgage by lending them up to 20% of the property’s value, with no fees payable in the first five years.
Lisa Morris, New Homes Manager at Westleigh, said: “We are delighted that the first new homes made available on this development have proven so popular. Ecton Brook Place offers an exciting range of options for couples, young families and downsizers seeking a two or three-bedroom property.
“All of the homes pending release are set to be available through the Government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme. This will allow purchasers with a 5% deposit to buy these properties with just a 75% mortgage. The scheme opens up a route onto the property ladder for those who may otherwise find a mortgage to be out of their reach.”
