Westleigh, the homebuilder behind the popular Butterfields development in Northampton, is offering buyers the chance to find out more about its Part Exchange scheme this weekend.
Homeowners looking to make a move may be able to sell their home to Westleigh, after reserving a property at Butterfields, removing the need to find a buyer for their present home themselves.
A team of experts will be on hand at the development on Booth Lane South, between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November, to explain the details of the scheme.
Those who reserve a home at Butterfields this weekend will also benefit from free fitted flooring in their property, £500 contribution towards their solicitors’ fees and turf to the rear garden.
To mark the Part Exchange Weekend, Westleigh’s New Homes Manager, Lisa Morris, offers her top five reasons for potential buyers to consider using the scheme when they make their next move.
1. No estate agency fees
“Few homeowners want to deal with the hassle of finding a buyer for their current home when they move, but enlisting an estate agent’s support can be costly and time-consuming.
“With Westleigh’s Part Exchange scheme, we do all the organisational work with the estate agents behind the scenes and the expenses are covered by us, too.”
2. Secure a property of your choice
“Buying a home through our Part Exchange scheme allows you to take action straight away when your Westleigh dream home comes on the market.
“You don’t need to worry about finding a buyer for your own home first – you can make your reservation when you’re ready to and sell your home directly to us.”
3. Remain in your current home until your new home is ready
“Matching up the timeframes can be one of the most stressful parts of moving home when you’re selling a property. Achieving a quick sale on your current home might mean having to move out before your new home is ready to move into, which catches many buyers out and leaves them in limbo.
“With Part Exchange, you’re selling your home to us – so you can rest assured that the keys to your current home will remain in your hands until we give you your new set on your move-in day.”
4. Get a fair price for your current home
“Selling your home on the open market has its risks; if you’re time-pressured, you might find yourself faced with a choice of accepting an offer that is lower than the market value, or losing the home you’ve reserved.
“The offers we make to buyers through the Part Exchange scheme are based on an independent agent’s valuation, arranged by us at no cost to the buyer. You’ll receive your offer within seven days of the valuation and we pride ourselves on making a fair offer every time.”
5. No property chain
“Perhaps the scheme’s greatest draw of all is the extra peace of mind our buyers get from knowing that there’s no risk of a chain falling through.
“Once you’ve accepted our offer, the sale of your home is secured and you can switch your attentions to more exciting things – like getting ready for your move-in day.”
More than 90% of homes at Butterfields have now been sold, but a small number of two, three and four bedroom properties remain available with prices starting from £219,950.
