A leading housebuilder has announced a Part Exchange Weekend at one of its developments in the region, aiming to explain the benefits of buying a home through its Part Exchange scheme and talk potential buyers through the process.
Westleigh Homes is holding the event over the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July, at its prestigious Humberston Meadows development in Humberston.
A number of homes at Humberston Meadows are currently available through the Part Exchange scheme. Selected additional properties are also available with Stamp Duty paid, if reserved over the Part Exchange Event.
The on-site marketing suite will be staffed from 10:00 to 17:00 each day, with a team of friendly advisers and an independent financial services expert on hand to discuss the ins and outs of Part Exchange in relation to potential buyers’ personal circumstances.
The popular Jefferson style show home will be open for visitors to explore throughout the day to offer a flavour of what life could be like at Humberston Meadows. A number of other home styles will be also be opened up over the weekend to visitors.
Westleigh’s Part Exchange scheme offers existing homeowners the opportunity to reserve a brand new home without needing to find a buyer of their own.
The developer will arrange for specialist independent selling agents to value the buyer’s existing home and make an offer, based on the agents’ valuations. Once the offer is accepted, buyers can stay in their present home until their new home is complete.
At the Part Exchange Weekend, potential buyers will be able to fill out an online application with details on their existing property and will be given a guideline valuation by the developer within two working days.
Robert Orr, Sales Director at Westleigh, said: “We’d thoroughly recommend to any existing homeowners looking for a new home in the North East Lincolnshire area that they drop by at Humberston Meadows over the course of the coming Part Exchange Weekend.
“This is a prime opportunity to find out more about one of the most straightforward, stress-free ways of moving for those who already own a property. If they feel they have reached a dead end in their search, this may open up doors for them.
“The scheme removes any need for buyers to sell their home or negotiate with estate agents. It also negates the risk of a chain falling through and scuppering their move. For this weekend only, certain homes at Humberston Meadows are also available with Stamp Duty paid, removing another expense and potential headache.
“Humberston Meadows is a fantastic place to live, in the heart of an aspirational area with good local amenities and a short distance from the beach, which is a wonderful luxury in the summer months.
“We look forward to welcoming home hunters to Humberston Meadows for our Part Exchange Weekend and hope that we can help turn some of their dreams into a reality.”
The on-site marketing suite at Humberston Meadows is open seven days per week, 10:00 to 17:00.
